FEATURES:
- COMFORTABLY APPENDIX CARRY YOUR FIREARM AND MAGAZINE ALL IN ONE
- ADJUSTABLE RETENTION ON BOTH THE FIREARMS SIDE AND MAGAZINE SIDE
- ADJUSTABLE RIDE HEIGHT TO FIND THE PERFECT LEVEL OF COMFORT
SWEAT GUARD: The sweat guard is the height of kydex against the skin
COLOR: This is a 2-piece holster. Therefore the front color is what would be seen on the outside and the back color would be the color against your body (with carbon facing the inside of the holster). Standard colors are .08" thick. Heavy duty is .093" thick. Our colors can be seen "HERE"
BELT SIZE: Standard belts are 1.5" thick but be sure to measure your belt to ensure proper fitment. If your belt is under 1.5" we recommend upgrading belts.
SHOCKCORD: Elastic cord connecting the holster to the mag carrier.
FINISH WASHER COLOR: Finish washers are the hardware that go between the screw and kydex. Standard is black or silver but we also offer custom powdercoated washers to accent your holster with.
CONCEALMENT CLAW: These claws are used to push against your belt line and twist the grip of the firearm into your body. We offer multiple options so that customers who are used to one or the other can have the choice. We do not believe there to be a huge difference between one or the other from personal experience however both options do help conceal extremely well.
THREADED BARREL: If you have a threaded barrel on your firearm for a suppressor or comp we will leave an area for the threaded barrel. At this time our molds do not allow for comps to be installed except in rare circumstances such as ordering a Glock 34 holster for a Glock 19. We will however not guarantee that all comps will fit even in that situation as all manufacturers differ from one another.
SUPPRESSOR HEIGHT SIGHTS: With few exceptions most of our holsters will fit suppressor height sights even without this option chosen. Our molds are built to accept up to .4" sights in most cases. If you have taller than .4" please use our contact us page to ensure they will fit. This is a very rare case that they are taller than that.
OPTIC CUT: Our optic cut is fairly universal except for the Trijicon SRO. If you choose an optic cut but do not have an optic cut on your firearm it will not make a difference on fitment or retention.
ADD VIBRATITE: We recommend adding this to your order however blue loctite will also work. After adjusting your holster to your carry preferences we recommend removing all screws and applying threadlocker to them. It is not applied at our shop to allow the customer to adjust their holster when they receive it.
LEADTIME AGREEMENT: Please be sure to review our lead times before ordering at the top of the page. At any given time we are handing 100's and sometimes 1000's of pending orders. These holsters are handmade by a small team the produces the best quality holsters found anywhere. If you are not able to wait for our level of quality we would recommend shopping elsewhere.
ORDER CHANGES: After you place your order there are absolutely no changes or cancellations allowed. It takes far too long to track down your order in our shop to make a change that may no longer even be possible.

FN 509 Tactical With Light, RMR, 24rnd Mag
As the 509 Community already knows, finding a holster for this gun that is comfortable for EDC is a challenge. First, for reference, I carry this gun everyday, and shoot about 1500rnds per week. I started with a Muddy River setup There's nothing wrong with it, and I still use it for non-light bearing 509 with RMR. I have the MR leather IWB holster and two mag holders. With the RMR I had to make a cutout in the holster myself, however there is no ability to put a light with the MR setup. The MR setup did a fairly decent job protecting my skin from the heat of the gun after shooting and re-holstering and of course leather always feels better against your skin than plastic, carbon, or anything hard. Additionally, carrying two MR OWB mag holders with 24rnd mags in them was a bit bulky, so I did a ton of research and found Legacy Firearms. I am so happy I did. These holsters came highly reviewed by several operators and (youtube operators) for EDC. I was skeptical at first because I've never really had a kydex or hard holster for IWB carry that I would say was worth the money or I was in love with. Usually they are heavy, bulky, and uncomfortable. After a long deliberation I opted for the Legacy Hyperion because for one, finding a holster for an FN 509 is already difficult, and two, my firearm has and RMR, Threaded Barrel, Raised sights, and I wanted to add a light. So practically speaking, Legacy is really the only option on the market if you want to actually carry your gun in this configuration and be able to use it if it you needed to. After deciding on the Legacy Light Bearing Hyperion because of my carry wants/needs, it took me several hours of research to figure out what options I needed to select in order to get the correct holster. I will break down the process below, and hopefully help someone else have an easier purchase. Firearm Configuration: FN 509 T with Trijicon RMR, and Streamlight TLR7A. Holster Configuration: 1. Right Handed Draw: I am right Handed. 2. Full Sweat guard body side only. I live in the south so sweating is part of life. Plus, it protects your skin from the gun very well, and creates an extremely comfortable hard shell carry rig. 3. Front color Black Flag Carbon; Rear Color Black Carbon; Edge Finish High Gloss: Get whatever color you want. The black flag carbon fiber is bad ass, and when I am looking for my gun and rig it is easy to pic out when multiple firearms or holsters are out. In reality, 90% or so of the holster is below your belt and out of sight, so you will only see it when you are not carrying it. I figured if I was spending the money on a bad ass holster, I would spend the extra bit to set it apart from my pile of holsters. 4. Belt attachment: Discrete Carry Concepts Mod 4 Clips; Belt Loop Size 1.5." I highly recommend these. They keep the rig in place, are extremely durable, and very-very thin so that it really does not look like a holster is clipped to your belt. If you ever had a draw problem where your holster comes out of your pants with the gun, then you can completely eliminate the problem with these clips. The only problem you may have is taking the holster off your pants at the end of the day until you get used to it. Also, if you wear very thick belts, you may be able to only fit the bottom layer through the clips hole, but the clip is so thin that the excess belt going to your left as you tighten the belt slips over the clip without creating a bulge. 5. Concealment Claw: RCS Belt claw. This does make your belt/pants bulge a tiny bit, but let me say that your rig WILL NOT MOVE with this claw. Set your position and you are done. Micro adjustments are a bit tough in combination with the MOD 4 clips, but only because this is a ROCK SOLID setup. Wear it for a week and you set it and forget it. I don't have a Modwing clip so I can't review it, however it may be a more slim option if you are athletic cut or thin bodied-or just in general. The handle of the gun sticks out further than the clip, so other than pushing the belt away from the gun and creating a slight bulge, this may be irrelevant for your particular carry. With the MOD 4 clips, you may not even need the claw. Importantly however, I do not think that you can switch claws after your holster is made (I'm still trying to figure out if I can get a modwing for my rig to see if it bulges less. Currently this issue is unresolved and will take further research and probably emailing customer service). 6. Shockcord Color Black, black washer. Again, get whatever color you want. Also, if you want to remove the extra mag holder, just undo the shock cord. It is not floppy, and conforms to your body like no other holster I've tried with the shock cord setup. 7. Threadlocker. GET THIS. Anyone who has an adjustable holster of any kind knows that the screws will loosen, and even fall out over time, If you actually carry your gun and actually use the holster. You do have to apply the threadlocker yourself after you receive the holster, so I imagine you can use whatever blue (non-permanant) threadlocker you want. I thought they applied it at the shop and that's why I ordered it. Otherwise I'd probably just have used some blue I already had. It took the full lead time to get my rig, so I'd expect at least that amount of time. That said, it took another 2 weeks to get the rig via ground shipping to FL, so in hindsight I should have opted for faster shipping. That's a tough call when you are already shelling out this kind of cash, but almost two weeks for shipping made me go nuts watching tracking info etc. I hope this review helps someone!

Good EDC
Great holster that fits the gun nice. I ordered it for my G45 + Pl Pro. It’s a big set up to conceal, but the product makes it easy to carry a full size gun comfortably.

JUST GET IT!!!
Went back and forth between several brand. After evaluation, settled on this brand and type. And I'm glad I did! The wait was just under 2 months after placing an order and it's definitely worth it. The quality is out standing; detailed, precise and comfortable. I would suggest that they include a wedge pack for better concealment, but that can easily be fixed with either making your own. Or purchasing one from several websites. If you're in the market for a quality holster, pull the trigger and just get it. You won't regret it!

Can't get any better
I've owned many holsters from many manufacturers and none have come close to the quality, comfort, and concealability of Legacy. The Hyperion is no exception. I own three of them and they are all super comfortable and conceal great! The hinge point adds a level of comfort over the "Legacy" model but can print just slightly more, so its a bit of a trade off. I still can easily conceal a Glock 19 and 17 round magazine without a single issue. Once again Legacy is freakin killing it!

Light Bearing Hyperion
Super Awesome. Wasted my time with a few different companies before coming across Legacy and I'm not disappointed in the least. I have a Glock 19 with TLR-7 and it fits perfectly out of the box. Retention is just right. Conceals better than every other holster I've tried.
